The exponent n controls the shape of the superellipse. n=2 leads to the standard ellipse. For n>=1 convex curves and concave curves are a result of exponents n<1.

Note

Extremely small exponents (n<.5) require extremely fine discretizations at the tips of the four arms. This leads to long meshing and possibly computation times.
